The Destiny 2 dev team held an online event to discuss their upcoming DLC, Lightfall back on December 10.
Superpixel had the privilege of attending and participating in a quick Q&A session. Here are some of the questions and answers:
Q: What inspired the design of Neomuna on Neptune?
A: We initially looked to action movies for inspiration, but we also wanted to incorporate the style of Destiny 2. Since the game doesn't have anything like it on its post-apocalyptic planets, we drew from classic action movies to create a city that would fit into the Golden Age.
Q: Will unlocking the Stasis Subclass be as difficult as unlocking the Void Subclass? How will unlocking it work across characters on one account?
A: Unlocking Stasis will be different from unlocking Void and will be more similar to unlocking the three subclasses within the Light element, where you will need to unlock it through different fragments. Characters on the same account will share these fragments, but each character will need to individually unlock their own skills and constellations.
Q: Will all characters on an account have access to 10 preset armor sets? If a piece of armor is still in the vault, can it be taken out of the vault by using the preset?
A: Yes, every character on an account will have access to 10 preset armor sets. And yes, if the armor is still in the vault, it can be taken out using the preset as long as there is enough space in the character's inventory.
The Q&A session provided some interesting insights into what players can expect from Lightfall, including new game mechanics and the creative process behind its designs. It's sure to be an exciting addition to the game for Destiny 2 fans.
