It's the end of 2022, and Destiny 2 Season 18 - titled Season of Plunder - is also coming to an end. On November 18, Bungie updated the last patch, featuring the Eliksni Quarter community event and more.
However, as it was already on the doorstep of another Destiny 2 Season, players were by nature more suspicious than ever. Recently, a Chinese fan claimed to have found some new in-game costumes- and weapons-related files that were alleged "proof of a potential crossover of Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed".

The Chinese fan claimed that all the costume and weapon data were extracted from the code embedded in the latest patch, and they just "extracted the code and put them into Cheat Engine (CE)".
As of the time of writing, there are no official announcements from either side. Also, there was currently no sign in Assassin's Creed games that there will be a crossover.
