Famous Author Milan Kundera Dies aged 94

Prominent European writer Milan Kundera has died at age 94. Known for his acclaimed novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Kundera fled Czechoslovakia in 1975 due to his criticism of the communist regime.

Kundera's novels, characterized by their poetic and satirical nature, offered astute observations on politics and everyday life. Despite facing political repercussions, Kundera gained international recognition and was awarded the Jerusalem Prize in 1985.

Kundera never received the Nobel Prize in Literature, but his works continue to resonate.
