Stardew Valley fans should all be very familiar with the plot of the game: The protagonist inherited grandpa's old farm, along with his farmhouse, because grandpa had passed away.
In other words, it was the obituary of grandpa that prompted the protagonist to move away from the city to Stardew Valley and started the whole game.
When we're talking about sandbox games, Stardew Valley is definitely one of the freest games throughout game history. However, bringing grandpa back to life is one of the few restrictions Stardew Vally had - well, not anymore.
Grandpa's Monument
Recently, a mod named "Buildable Grandpa" was released on Steam Workshop, enabling players to build a "Grandpa's Monument" - a bed-shaped building with grandpa lying on it.
Technically, it's nothing close to a resurrection, but still... Grandpa is back, sort of.
In addition, building Grandpa's Monument will cost you 30,000 gold, 5 iron bars, 3 clothes, and a strange doll.
A price we're all willing to pay.
