Indie game developer ConcernedApe, famous for the beloved farm simulation game Stardew Valley, has announced the release of an official cookbook that will allow fans to bring some of the game's most popular dishes to life. This cookbook will be the third official Stardew Valley publication, following the Stardew Valley Guidebook and the Junimo Colouring Book.
Recipes in Stardew Valley
Excitingly, Eric Barone, the mastermind behind the game, has co-authored the cookbook, collaborating with Ryan Novak, who's known for his work on the Stardew Valley Guidebook and Hollow Knight Wanderer’s Journal.
Featuring more than 50 recipes drawn from the game's culinary delights, the cookbook includes in-game favorites like Pink Cake, Crab Cakes, Farmer's Lunch, Survival Burger, and Strange Bun. Reflecting the game's seasonal structure, the recipes are neatly divided by Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, allowing fans to prepare seasonal dishes throughout the year. To enhance the culinary experience, the cookbook is enriched with vivid photographs and original illustrations.
Scheduled for release on April 16, 2023, The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook will be available in both hardcover and digital Kindle editions. The hardcover is priced at 28.00 USD, while the Kindle version will cost 13.99 USD. Fans eager to own a copy can start pre-ordering both editions on platforms like Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
