The company was reported to attempt to bring Hellena Taylor, the former Bayonetta voice actress back to the new franchise.

- Platinum wanted to re-hire her last Summer
- $3K-$4K per session (4-5 sessions) = $15K total
- "Significant increase" over her pay for B2
- Can confirm the residuals claimhttps://t.co/dbHBimIs8N pic.twitter.com/gU7blwzifn
The updated pay rate was said to be between USD 3,000 to 4,000 per session (5 sessions) plus residuals, instead of a flat quote for the whole game.
However, insiders state that Taylor is now asking for a six-figure sum, which appeared to be unacceptable to PlatinumGames.
The offer was declined, and the conversation came to an end.
Despite the final outcome of this dispute, we hope that the VA industry will develop an industry standard that protects everybody in this line of work.
