Since June 2022, when Diablo Immortal was jointly launched by Activision Blizzard and NetEase, it has maintained a high level of revenue. The game ranked No.4 on the revenue ranking, with the total overseas revenue exceeding 100 million USD. Among them, the United States and South Korea markets contributed the largest portions of the revenue, accounting for 38% and 14.8% of total overseas revenue in July, respectively.
Thanks to the launch of the summer special event in July, NetEase’s Knives Out has significantly increased its revenue in the Japanese market. In July, the overseas revenue grew 108% compared to the same period last year and advanced 11 places to No. 7 on the total revenue list, and also topped the overseas revenue growth list.
IM30's survival sim Last Fortress’s revenue has also continued to grow in the overseas market. On top of the 15% year-on-year growth in June, it grew by 30% again in July, moving up four spots to No. 19 and ranked No. 6 in the overseas revenue growth list.
During this period, the overseas revenue of many survival-themed mobile games, such as 37 Games’ Puzzles & Survival and IM30’s Last Shelter: Survival, have all seen a significant rise, showing the market potential of survival-themed games again.
On July 20, Yostar Network's anime gacha mobile game Blue Archive celebrated its 1.5th-anniversary and set a new single-day revenue record in the Japanese market the following day. July's overseas revenue increased to twice that of June, returning to No. 20 on the current overseas revenue chart and ranked No. 3 on the revenue growth chart.
With the launch of the 2.5th-anniversary celebration in the Japanese market, the overseas revenue of Arknights surged 187% in July, returning to 23rd place in the current revenue list and ranked 2nd place in the revenue growth list, with the Japanese market contributing the most to the revenue growth.
