Sensor Tower data shows that Kitka Games' Stumble Guys topped the global mobile game download charts in July with 30.5 million downloads, 10 times more than the same period last year. Indonesia was the game's top market, contributing 19.4% of the total downloads, followed by the U.S. with 10.4%.
SYBO Games’ Subway Surfers ranked second with 26.2 million downloads, up 40.6% compared to the same period last year. India was the top market for the game, contributing about 15% of the downloads, followed by Brazil with 10.3%.
The other three games in the top five of the downloads chart were Garena's Free Fire, Roblox, and Gametion's Ludo King, in that order.
In July 2022, global mobile games were downloaded 4.8 billion times on the App Store and Google Play, up 1.5% year-on-year. The Indian market ranked first with approximately 784 million downloads, accounting for 16.2% of total global downloads. The U.S. market came in second with 8.6% of downloads, followed by the Brazilian market with 8.5%.
