Today, Lightspeed & Quantum Studios, the famous Tencent mobile game studio, announced on Weibo that they had rebranded the studio as LightSpeed Studios. From now on, they will use the name LightSpeed Studios, originally used for overseas distribution in China, and make it their primary goal to build a global brand and establish the "LightSpeed Universe Game Platform".
The brand logo of LightSpeed Studios has also been completely refreshed, incorporating many project concepts and cosmic elements. Officially stating, "The classic lightning logo represents our unchanging love for the game, while the quantum man running at the speed of light and the photon ring of converging energy signify the exploration for future and the concept of building a gaming ecology together.”
LightSpeed Studios also announced the establishment of a sub-brand called the LightSpeed Exploration Lab. In the near future, the lab will bring together the technical advances of Tencent games, apply them to other technological fields, and continue to explore more possibilities to help the world.
