The acclaimed Death Stranding Director’s Cut is set to launch on January 30 for iPhone 15 Pro, as well as iPads and Macs equipped with M-series chips, announced publisher 505 Games and developer Kojima Productions. This definitive version of the genre-defying game by legendary creator Hideo Kojima enhances the original experience with additional features. Set in a future where a mysterious event, the Death Stranding, has wreaked havoc, players take on the role of Sam Bridges. His mission is to deliver hope and reconnect a fragmented America, navigating a world where the boundaries between life and death blur.
The Mac version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut boasts full utilization of Metal 3 features like MetalFX Upscaling, ensuring top-notch graphics and performance. It also includes a high frame rate, Photo Mode, and crossover content from Valve Corporation’s Half-Life series and CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077. The game also supports the Social Strand System, enabling global player connectivity.
Already available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, the game’s expansion to Apple devices marks a significant development for fans of this unique gaming experience.
