Tekken 8 Demo Launches on Xbox Series X/S and PC

Bandai Namco has expanded the reach of its free Tekken 8 demo, now making it available on Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, following its PS5 launch last week. This demo offers players a taste of the highly anticipated game, including the first chapters of both the Story Mode, The Dark Awakens, and Arcade Quest.

In addition to the story content, the demo features Versus Mode, where players can battle it out with four characters: Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Nina Williams. The game provides three different stages for combat: Yakushima, Sanctum, and Urban Square (Evening). For those seeking a challenge, the Super Ghost Battle mode pitches players against tough AI opponents.

The demo also includes a Gallery showcasing cutscenes from the Tekken series, from the original game through "Tekken 7." However, online play, which was absent in the PS5 version, is also likely unavailable for Xbox Series X/S and PC players. Additionally, saved data from the demo won't be transferable to the full game.

Set for release on January 26th, 2024, Tekken 8 promises to introduce new mechanics, including the innovative Heat system, across Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms.
