In a significant stride for the gaming content creation industry, Allstar, a leading gameplay content capturing service, has successfully raised 12 million USD in a Series A funding round. The investment will be channeled towards product development and expanding the technology for new partnerships.

Currently supporting four major games including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and Fortnite, Allstar has established itself as a key player in the gaming community. The funding round witnessed participation from Drive Capital, leading the investment, alongside contributions from previous investors like Mark Cuban, New York Angels, Studio VC, J-Ventures, and Alumni Ventures.

This financial boost marks a total of over 18 million USD raised by Allstar, with notable gaming investors from Twitch, Zynga, and Blizzard being part of their funding journey. The company had previously garnered 3.85 million USD in a seed round in 2021.

Chris Olsen, co-founder and partner at Drive Capital, highlighted Allstar’s role in revolutionizing gamer content creation, with the platform producing over 3.2 million clips monthly for more than 550,000 gamers.

Founded in 2019 by CEO Nick Cuomo and CTO Gavin Silver, Allstar’s cloud-based service offers gamers an efficient way to capture, edit, and share their gaming content across social media platforms. Cuomo envisions Allstar as a ubiquitous presence in the gaming world, aiming to make it the preferred platform for gamers, both during and after gaming sessions. The company’s focus remains on empowering everyday gamers to create and share their in-game experiences, which in turn enhances game discovery, community engagement, and redefines the scope of being a gaming content creator.
