Netflix confirmed the existence of its upcoming Devil May Cry anime series during its Drop 01 livestream event, dispelling rumors that the project had been shelved. The eight-episode series is animated by Studio Mir and boasts a high-profile team, including Castlevania's executive producer Adi Shankar, and writer Alex Larson.
The show will capture the franchise's signature stylish combat and its iconic characters, led by demon hunter Dante. While the release date is still under wraps, the series is nearly ready for its Netflix debut.
