Final Fantasy XVI has been released. While enjoying the great-as-usual storytelling, players were surprised to find out that the combat system has improved drastically - or in some players' words, "Devil-May-Cry-like."

"You can only do those combos in Training mode"

The statement was not entirely wrong. Ryota Suzuki, combat director of Final Fantasy XVI, has had respectful credits as a developer of multiple action games such as Street Fighter Alpha 3, Dragon's Dogma, and Devil May Cry 5.
As a 20-year Capcom employee, Suzuki completed Final Fantasy XVI with a stellar combat system. If you own a PS5, you can start your journey in Final Fantasy XVI now; if you're a PC player, sadly, you will have to wait a little longer.
