Super Mario Bros. Wonder brings a fresh 2D side-scrolling adventure featuring an expanded roster of characters. For the first time, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and Yoshi join Mario, Luigi, and Toad as playable characters. Adding more fun to the mix, the game introduces a brand-new power-up that allows Mario to transform into Elephant Mario.
Local four-player co-op is confirmed, although details about the game's online play remain under wraps for now. Speculation suggests that further announcements could be made during the upcoming Direct. In a notable change, Nintendo has stated that Charles Martinet, the original voice actor for Mario, will not be a part of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Fans are buzzing with curiosity about who will take on the iconic role.
