PlayStation has unveiled new details about its anticipated wireless earbuds, called the PlayStation Pulse Explore, and announced new audio products. The Pulse Explore earbuds are PlayStation's first, although parent company Sony has manufactured earbuds in the past, like the WF-1000XM4. The new earbuds boast dual microphones, AI-enhanced noise cancellation, lossless audio support, and come with a charging case. They are set to retail at 199.99 USD.
Alongside the earbuds, PlayStation introduced the Pulse Elite wireless headset. This headset includes features similar to the Pulse Explore, such as lossless audio and AI-powered noise rejection. Additionally, it has a retractable boom mic and a charging mount for storage and charging. The Pulse Elite will be available at 149.99 USD, with more details to follow.
PlayStation also announced Link Wireless Audio Technology, a USB adapter that comes with both the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore. This technology ensures low latency, lossless audio, and seamless switching between PS5 and the PlayStation Portal. The PlayStation Link, compatible with PC and Mac, will also be available as a separate purchase. These announcements mark PlayStation's continued investment in enhancing the audio experience for its users.
