Sony Pictures has postponed the release of "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" due to the aftermath of the Hollywood double strike. The animated sequel, originally scheduled for March 29, 2024, was taken off the calendar as the voice cast, represented by SAG-AFTRA, did not complete the dialogue recording before the strike. A new release date has not yet been announced.

Other Sony films, including "Kraven the Hunter" and the sequel to "Ghostbusters: Afterlife," have also been delayed due to the strike. The strike prohibits actors from promoting films, leading studios to postpone releases without star support. The impact of the strike is also affecting television, with FX's "A Murder at the End of the World" pushing its premiere date to November to allow for promotional activities.

Spider-Verse fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see Miles Morales' next adventure.
