Genshin Impact is no stranger to impressive advertising campaigns, from collaborations with fast food chains to placing teleportation hubs from the game in the real Alps. Now, the game has taken its promotional efforts to another level with a Genshin Impact-themed train serving Metro Line 1 in Xiamen, a city in southeast China with a population of about 7.2 million.

The train's entrances feature official artwork of different characters, creating a welcoming atmosphere for passengers. Inside, the train is adorned with Genshin Impact-themed art, with main characters Aether and Lumine appearing on every door. The walls are decorated with small portraits of Paimon. A video on the Chinese site bilibili.com showcases the train and its impressive design.

While this real-life appearance of Genshin Impact is not directly advertising the game itself, it is promoting a green transportation initiative in partnership with Alipay. QR codes inside the train allow passengers who use public transportation through Alipay to earn credits, which can be exchanged for Genshin Impact resources like Primogems and Mora. Additionally, passengers have the option to purchase souvenir Genshin Impact train tickets.
