Lost Ark
Lost Ark, the 2019 award-winning MMO action RPG, has been trying to launch in China for years. Since it was earlier released in South Korea (2019, by Smilegate) and in Europe, North America, and South America (2022, by Amazon Games), it will have to pass censorship under China's regulation before it officially launches. In order to do so, Lost Ark has made censored modifications to the characters in the game under local regulation.
However, in the update on June 28, these modification patches were mistakenly implemented in the Korean server, causing dissatisfaction among Korean players.
The officials quickly apologized for the incident and were able to fix the patch afterward.
