Chinese indie game Elder Ring recently launched its store page on Steam.
Be aware, this game might sound related to the Game of the Year 2022 candidate Elden Ring, but it actually has nothing to do with it.

Elder Ring is a Chinese cultivation game that has you play as a powerful and elderly immortal who has accidentally lost his flesh form and was forced to hide his soul in an elder ring. The ring was then found by a random nobody, and your task is to find a way to get along with the ring master and escape from the ring.
When it comes to the game introduction, the development team was playful. They especially emphasized that this game will not contain any beautiful female NPCs, dating elements, hack & slash elements, or the tiniest shred of sanity.

Instead, the development team warned the players that they should be expecting an elderly guy, cutscenes that suck ("like the slides you make with Microsoft PowerPoint"), tones of memes, and glitches.
In a word, this is going to be an abnormal game for sure.
