The games leaving Xbox Game Pass also include Garden Story and MotoGP 22. Until their removal, these games will be available for purchase at a discount of up to 20 percent. Following their exit, Xbox plans to introduce a new selection of games for subscribers.
GTA V has had a fluctuating presence on Xbox Game Pass since its first inclusion in 2020, with its latest addition occurring in July 2023. Despite being a decade old, GTA V continues to attract a significant player base, supported by ongoing content updates across platforms.
Meanwhile, anticipation builds for GTA VI, whose trailer was leaked in late 2023. The next installment in the popular franchise is expected to release in 2025, continuing the legacy of the Grand Theft Auto series.
