Nintendo Direct 2023: Remakes, Remasters, and Entirely New games!

Nintendo enthusiasts have plenty to celebrate as the gaming giant unveiled an exciting lineup during their 40-minute Nintendo Direct this September. The event was jam-packed with updates, announcements, and teasers for games arriving on the Nintendo Switch. Here's a quick rundown of all the new games and projects that were revealed:

  • Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door HD: Remastered and slated for next year.

  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong Remake: Launching on February 16, 2024; features local co-op.

  • F-Zero 99: Available now exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online members; battle royale-style racing with SNES wireless controller support.

  • Princess Peach: Showtime!: Releases March 22, 2024; gameplay varies depending on Peach's transformations.

  • Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3 Remasters: Arriving February 14, 2024; toggle between updated visuals and original look.

  • Luigi's Mansion 2 HD: Coming next summer; showcased a new trailer.

  • Unicorn Overlord: Tactics RPG releasing on March 8; developed by Vanillaware.

  • Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes: New release date of April 23, 2024.

  • WarioWare: Move It!: New trailer; over 200 micro-games confirmed.

  • Nintendo Gallery Museum: Still on track for March 2024 completion; question block to be painted on the roof.
