The martial hero game Path of Wuxia has released a significant update, including the final one-third of the game and the ending. However, the players were disappointed after beating the game and giving negative reviews. The current review rating of the game has dropped to mostly negative from very positive.
Path of Wuxia is a martial hero RPG in which the player acts like a young military hero and joins the academy known as the Hermetic Pavilions of Xia. In that academy, the young hero will build relationships with others, practice martial art and develop their path to becoming a real martial hero.
Many players criticize the game for not providing good response to those key factors. In the late part, the game forced players to choose from two paths and both are extreme. In addition, their teammates may choose the opposite side and separate from or even be hostile to players, regardless if the player has already boosted their relationship to the highest level.
Some also criticize that the final battle is full of plot armor, and the players cannot beat the boss until the plot says so. It makes their efforts to build a vital stats character entirely useless.

As a response, Heluo Studio has posted an announcement with an apology on April 5th. And they promised there would be follow-up patches to improve the game performance, battle mechanics, and story rewriting.
