The Wandering Earth 2 is an upcoming science fiction action-adventure film directed and co-written by Frant Gwo and starring Andy Lau and Wu Jing. The story is based on the short story of the same name by Liu Cixin.
Liu is a nine-time winner of China's Galaxy Award and the 2015 Hugo Award winner for his novel "The Three-Body Problem".
