The game industry has become a gigantic business in 2022. Big game companies, such as Epic Games, are making billions of dollars a year. However, it doesn't necessarily mean they are treating their employees and freelancers right.
As reported by Kotaku, illustrator Deb JJ Lee recently shared her experience of turning down Fortnite's job offer after an unpleasant bargain.

Lee believed that it was unethical for Fortnite to propose an offer worth 3,000 USD for an entire set of illustrations while their parent company Epic Games made 6 billion USD in 2021.
She later bargained for a 15,000 USD offer with copyright but was turned down.
