Shortly after Overwatch 2 went online, Blizzard opted to temporarily disable two popular characters, Bastion and Torbjorn, due to some game-breaking bugs.
For Bastion, players found a way to fire this reworked damage champion’s ult, a.k.a. The Artillery cannons nonstop, which entirely broke the other players’ game experience. Thus, Bastion was pulled out of the rotation for some hotfixes.

As for Torbjorn, while his problem is less prevalent, his Overload ability has constantly provided teammates with extended armor.
For the time being, there’s no clear ETA of when these two characters will be back in the rotation. Fortunately, Blizzard affirmed that it will only be a “quick trip to the workshop”.

Bastion and Torbjörn will be taking a quick trip to the workshop while we iron out a few bugs in their ability kits!
