Japanese indie developer SOMMIT GAMES will release a horror game, KAKURIYO, on Steam. The game is scheduled to launch on April 29 next year, and it only supports Japanese and English for now.
KAKURIYO is a multiplayer horror game designed for 1-4 players. Players in the game are kidnapped by an evil ghost and taken to a haunted space from which they must escape. Survival tools and many skills will allow players to work out an escape plan with their teammates.
The game has a cute 2D cartoon art style, but the developer promises that players will be frightened as the same as 3D titles.
