Open-world RPG Tower of Fantasy, released by Level Infinite on August 11th, has seen an initial success in revenue globally. The game set a record for the highest revenue growth rate in Japan within the first two weeks (August 11th-24th), according to a report by Sensor Tower.
Meanwhile, its worldwide revenue exceeded 34 million USD, the report said.
The largest proportion of revenue comes from Japan, which accounts for 42.1%, and the second place is the US with 18.2%. However, US players accounted for 14% of all downloads while Japan ranks second at 10.7%.

When calculating the RPD (Revenue Per Download) for the same period, the RPD of the game in the US is about 7 USD. In Japan, it is more than 21 USD, and the profitability in Japan is more than three times higher than in the US.
