Independent studio LongYou Game has announced a new game Krzyżacy-The Knights of the Cross, on Steam. The game is predicted to be released next year in February and supports English and Simplified Chinese.

Krzyżacy-The Knights of the Cross is a turn-based strategy card game where players can hire thirty different characters within seven character classes. The developer introduces the game's background based on the masterpiece The Knights of the Cross by Nobel-Prize-winning author Henryk Sienkiewicz. Players lived in the Middle Ages when Poland and Lithuania were at war with the State of Teutonic Order. Wandering in the former two countries, players will encounter characters during the trip and together defeat the evil Teutonic Order.

Some say Krzyżacy-The Knights of the Cross comes from a previous game project, Call of Knights, since the art styles resemble and are all set in the Middle Ages. LongYou Game has not confirmed the news, but the official account of Call of Knights has not released any update news for over a year.

The pre-registration of the mobile version of Krzyżacy-The Knights of the Cross is available on TapTap. The mobile game launched its demo on July 23 and optimized for the first time on July 29. However, the demo just stopped downloads yesterday.
