Columbus Circle announced that their "HDMI Converter,” which enables PS1 and PS2 to output HDMI signals, will be released on July 28. Price will be subject to each retail platform. For reference, Amazon will release it on July 28 for 7480 yen (55 USD).
This converter can switch aspect ratios between 4:3 and 16:9 and supports a resolution of 1080p, but it does not upscale.
