Two matches were held yesterday in the 2022 LPL Summer Split. RNG easily swept UP 2:0. While the match between RA and WE saw a surprising amount of back and forth before RA beat WE 2:1.

In game one of the match between RNG and UP, at 13 minutes, four champions from RNG tried to gank UP’s two champions through the bottom lane. The attempt soon turned into a team fight where UP unfortunately lost Lee Sin and Leona.

Following that, RNG’s advantage snowballed quickly. At 20 minutes, although UP H4cker on Lee Sin launched an ultimate and triggered a team fight, UP failed to build an edge and lost three champions while killing two. At the closing moment, RNG Gala on Aphelios achieved an excellent penta kill, helping RNG take the win in this round easily.

In game two, RNG continued their momentum. At 21 minutes, they killed three champions from UP and Baron. Five minutes later, with the Baron buff, RNG aced UP and secured victory in both the game and the match.

Between RA and WE, in game one, by the 22 minute-mark, WE had a strong lead in gold and seemingly unshakeable control of the game. However, five minutes later, in a surprising upset, RA killed four of WE’s champions and went on to win the round.

Following that, in game two, it was WE’s turn to make a sudden come back. After trailing RA by 8k gold at 26 minutes, WE went on to kill two champions in what turned out to be a decisive team fight, allowing them to kill both a Dragon and Baron, retaking the advantage in the round and winning in the end.

In game three, RA got back to form and thoroughly dominated the game. By 11 minutes, WE had only killed one champion from RA, while RA had eliminated 11 champions. With this victory, RA broke a three-match losing streak.
