The match between JDG and EDG was held yesterday in the Upper Bracket Finals for the LPL Spring Playoffs 2023. As a result, JDG defeated EDG 3:0, securing their place in the Finals and earning a spot in the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2023) that will take place in London.
In game one of the match, initially, both teams played cautiously with few skirmishes. In the mid-game, JDG employed multiple ganks to gain an advantage. At 24 minutes, EDG secured Baron, but JDG quickly turned the tables with JDG knight on Ahri securing a triple kill just three minutes later. Ultimately, JDG emerged victorious in this round.
In game one, at 27 minutes, JDG knight on Ahri accomplished a triple kill in the mid-lane.
In game two, JDG maintained their momentum and completely controlled the pace of the game, resulting in a decisive victory.
In game three, a crucial moment occurred at the six-minute mark when both teams clashed in the jungle, resulting in JDG eliminating three members of EDG. Seven minutes later, JDG 369 managed to take down EDG Jiejie in a 1v2 situation in the top lane. From that point on, JDG maintained their advantage and left little opportunity for EDG to mount a comeback, ultimately securing the win in both the game and the match.
Following their loss to JDG in the Upper Bracket Finals, EDG has been relegated to the Lower Bracket Finals, where they will face off against BLG on April 11th.
