Today, Azure Flame Studio, known for its successful battle chess game, Banner of the Maids, has announced that its new mobile game Vide et credere (See and believe) will be available for an Alpha test on June 14th.

On May 19th, Azure Flame released a teaser for Vide et credere, which is the first look at this mobile game since May 2021, when Azure Flame simply announced on Weibo that they were working on something new. In the teaser, Azure Flame showed us a large city called Cold Mountain and some supernatural dangers that lie beneath the city’s prosperous exterior.

Because of over-development and the enormous population, more and more urban legends are becoming a reality through the power of people's imagination. Cold Mountain has seen a surge in the number of supernatural cases that cannot be solved by science in recent months.

You play as the chief of a temporarily established Bureau of Crisis Response, leading officers to uncover the evil forces behind the supernatural cases with a kind of superpower called ‘packaged objects’ and eventually restore order to Cold Mountain.

Unfortunately, Azure Flame did not show the gameplay in this teaser. Still, according to Azure Flame's social media account, Vide et ceredere will be a strategy battle chess game like Banner of the Maids. Azure Flame also mentioned that the game takes the basics from Banner of the Maids further, introducing terrain, height, multiple squad control at the same time and other combat systems, giving players more diverse options and ways to beat the enemy. The game's overall replay value is very high. As of now, the game has opened registration for its Alpha test; click here for more information.
