Just now, Kuro Games, the renowned Chinese game development company that produced Punishing: Grey Raven, has released the first look at its new open-world game Wuthering Waves. Kuro Games published a text related to the in-game stories on May 24; today, however, we got a more significant look at both the visuals and other game details for Wuthering Waves.

Sadly, the teaser does not provide very much information. In this 40-second video, the female character who appeared in the early development leaks reappears, seemingly hiding from a mysterious natural disaster that has suddenly struck. From the character’s narration, it can be concluded that the world of Wuthering Waves has experienced a disaster caused by "waves". Resulting in sharp rocks that might be radioactive emerging from the ground and plants suddenly turning gray, and humans have to find a “core” that isn’t occupied by suffering, chaos and unknowns.
The date of May 27 appears at the end of the teaser, perhaps indicating that Kuro Games will release more details on the game tomorrow. According to certain resources and the introduction of the official Twitter account of the game, Wuthering Waves is an open-world mobile game with rich stories and a fascinating art style. It started development two years ago with Unreal Engine 4, and the game will likely be released in 2022 or the first quarter of 2023.
