ByteDance's Gaming Division Rumors to be in Talks with Tencent for Game Sale

ByteDance's gaming division, Nuverse, is currently in negotiations with Tencent to sell several of its game titles. Sources close to the deal have revealed that the teams involved are spread across locations such as Shanghai and Shenzhen. Nuverse has reportedly spent over a hundred million CNY in the development of these games, and the sale is said to involve significant markdowns in pricing.

A representative from Nuverse stated that a deal with Tencent is yet to be finalized.

Additionally, the team is also in discussions with multiple buyers regarding the sale of these projects.
