VIVE LE Football, a football simulation mobile game developed by NetEase, announced that it would open Beta testing on May 20 on IOS and Android simultaneously. Unlike the Alpha test in February, the Beta test will be open to in-game micro-transactions and will refund the paid props during the test after the game is officially released.

Unlike Pro Evolution Soccer Online, which was previously developed by Konami and run by NetEase in China, VIVE LE Football is NetEase's first self-developed football simulation mobile game. It aims to catch up with Tencent's football game of the same type, FIFA Football World, to be released in 2019. As a competitor to Tencent's game, NetEase has acquired the license of AC Milan FC as well as FIFPRO. Players can build their own clubs and train their favorite players in the game or play as legendary players from history to recreate their success. The game also has a unique street football mode that supports small-scale 3V3 online battles, with relatively loose rules and tight schedules, making it more fun than regular tournaments.

Previously, NetEase had launched several Alpha tests of VIVE LE Football, with the first playtest starting back in June 2021. This Beta test is mainly to check the multiplayer servers and the reception of the in-game micro-transactions. It is believed that the game will be officially launched in 2022, so let's wait and see whether it can recreate the success of Tencent’s FIFA Football World.
