On April 28, HoYoverse released the latest trailer of its Honkai Impact series' latest work - Star Rail Trailer, and at the same time, started the recruitment for the Alpha test globally. This is also the second test recruitment opened after the first small-scale test in October last year.
After the trailer was released, it triggered an overwhelming response from the players. In less than an hour, the new trailer hit the top of BiliBili's trending. From the information revealed by the latest trailer, the current product is obviously more complete than the first test, and players are likely to see the official launch of the game within 2022.
Honkai Impact: Star Rail takes place in the depths of the galaxy. Players will take the Star Rail, shuttling between different planets and various forces, meet new friends, explore the unique civilizations, and gradually uncover the secrets of the deep universe. Classic elements such as the vast starry sky, diverse races, and unknown technology are also presented in the latest trailer and show the game’s world-building in a closer view.
As one of the Honkai series, players can see many familiar people that are playable characters in Honkai Impact II and III, such as Seele and Himeko. Of course, there are also many new characters in this trailer that show off their charm, and HoYoverse has said Star Rail will have more characters than their previous work Honkai Impact III.
Unlike Honkai Impact III's ARPG battle system, Star Rail developed an open-world exploration system with turn-based strategic battles. Similar to Genshin, players of Star Rail are free to choose the gender of the character they play as and command their favorite character in battle. Star Rail also uses the elemental system from Genshin Impact that has been so well received by players, which allows players to make their own attack judgment through the character's ability and the natural environment of the battlefield.
At present, Star Rail has opened a website for test registration. Click this link for more information.
