Chinese indie 2D side-scroller Glimmer in Mirror is in the late stages of development. The developers recently updated the game’s playable demo and announced that it got a license from the China National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA).
The developers also said they would start crowdfunding and launch a beta test soon.
In a developers’ log, the creators from MapleDorm Games listed the updates they have made. They include optimizing the special effects and the hit feedback, adding the custom setting to support 21:9 ultra-widescreen resolution, and adding the button layout for controller and keyboard, to name a few.
The title is an action shooter game. You play as a girl awakening to find a beautiful world contained in a mirror that shatters before your eyes. Waking after that within the world of the mirror, you have to reveal the truth of this world while fighting foes on a grand adventure.
By last July, more than 30,000 players had added the game to their wish list.
