A Wechat article from Shanghai's local charity organization showed LPL club V5's Mid Laner Song "Rookie" Ui-jin has donated 100,000 yuan (~15,720 USD) to Minhang District.
The manager of V5, Su Xiaoluo (Zhu Songge), also donated 10,000 yuan to the charity body.
As a central esports center, Shanghai has seen thousands of asymptomatic infections each day recently. Due to current situation, the LPL put off its playoffs to April 8 and afterward.
