On January 1st, 2023, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship will commence, hosting a total of 16 elite teams hailing from 12 distinct regions. These teams will compete for the coveted title of being the world champion, with the competition taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The participating teams of the M4 World Championships will include the customary contenders from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. In addition to these, other teams from Cambodia, the Middle East, Myanmar, Turkey, North America, LATAM, Brazil, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam will also be joining the event.
Sixteen teams have been selected to compete for a portion of the 800,000 USD prize pool, but the details regarding slot allocations are yet to be disclosed.
The Group Stage will take place from January 1st to 4th, 2023, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the upper bracket, while the remaining teams will compete in the lower bracket to avoid elimination.
The Knockout Stage will be held between January 7th and 14th, 2023, with the top team given two lives, and those at the bottom being eliminated upon defeat.
The M4 World Championship winner will be determined in the Final match scheduled for January 15th, 2023.
