The 2022 LPL Spring Split has hit the halfway mark, meaning most teams have completed eight matches. In yesterday’s two games, RA pulled off an upset over RNG 2:0. Later in the day, IG won against JDG 2:1.

Before yesterday’s competition, RNG seemed to have the edge over RA as it ranked 5th with seven wins and two losses, and RA ranked 11th with three wins and five losses. However, in the first game of the series, RA’s Top Laner Cube, with his main champion Gwen, had an excellent performance, leading to RA taking down RNG.

In the second game, RA got three kills in a team fight at 11 minutes and established a substantial lead over their rival. MVP for the second game of the series was given to Jungler Leyan’s Xin Zhao.

IG and JDG were close to each other on the team standings, so the match yesterday was crucial for both sides to compete for playoff spots. JDG won the first game of the series but saw IG bounce back later in the second game. IG continued their momentum in the third game and won. The MVPs were JDG’s Kanavi for the first game and IG’s Wink for the last two games.
