The Pokémon Trading Cards Game has officially launched in China in simplified Chinese. The Pokémon company also announced a Chinese TCG Championship Series would be held in Guangzhou later in December this year.
On October 26, Pokémon Shanghai held a preview session before the official release, showing the simplified Chinese version of the Pokémon cards and some peripheral goods.
According to the official website, the first batch of Simplified Chinese cards will be selected from the classic Sun & Moon series, with about 1000 cards as the first release.
The TCG Championship Series has also open for registration, and players can register through Wechat and the official website. The whole series will have a basic tournament in the Pokémon Shop, city tournaments in major cities in China, and a master tournament in Guangzhou.
