Microsoft's Xbox Adaptive Controller has won the Gold Award of Good Design 2022 while being nominated for the Grand Award that will be announced on November 1.
The Good Design Award was founded in 1957 by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion to celebrate good designs that enhance the industry or the quality of life. The award recently announced some of its 2022 winners, and Xbox Adaptive Controller and Sony PS VR2 are among the gold award recipients.
The controller got the Gold Award
And PS VR2, too.
Microsoft's Xbox Adaptive Controller is an input device to help a disabled person play video games and interact with computers, using limb motions and voice. The controller is widely recognized for its ingenious input methods and effectiveness.
