Chinese esports player Zhu Bocheng, also known as Paraboy for Shanghai NV in the PEL, obtained a national certificate on August 25th, becoming one of the first "certified" esports players in China.
"After I got it, I told my family, and they were very happy. They said that I am now 'doing my job with a certificate,'" the 20-year-old player said.

Zhu Bocheng participated in it once he learned the news. "I think if you have this certificate, it's like being awarded a 'professional title', which is a symbol of your 'professional identity' being confirmed."
