To let more people pay attention to Alzheimer's Disease patients, an indie developer by the handle of _Shio_ gathered seven friends and developed the game Memory Sea.

The story takes place in a nursing home, where the player plays a caregiver and gets along with the elder people with Alzheimer's Disease. The story unfolds through two perspectives: the nurses and the patients. By interacting with them, players can find clues and solve the puzzles, eventually piece out the whole story.

Most of the developers are graduates of China Academy of Art and the project was showcased in their graduation exhibition.

At the exhibition, the creator _Shio_ was deeply impressed by a five-year-old girl. She was a little bit taller than the table and couldn’t even hold the mouse. People around her offered her a stool and she finished the game seriously.

Some people in their middle age also expressed their interests in the game at the exhibition. Meanwhile, there are some comments below the game’s Bilibili video and people said they’d visited the booth and were impressed by the quality of the game.

“We hope that in the process of the interactive play, players can realize the needs of Alzheimer's Disease patients and the feelings of their caregivers.” _Shio_ said in the game’s introduction. “We hope to express our care to the current situation and the social dilemma in a professional way of interpretation.”
