On Jul. 8, the Genshin Qiqi collaboration popsicle started selling. Several options were available, including a gift box with popsicles, in-game items, and peripheral products.

An hour later, the collaborated popsicle brand Suibian announced the first batch of 2000 pcs gift boxes were sold out, and they will prepare a second batch pre-sell. According to the comments on Weibo, the gift boxes were sold out in “a blink of an eye.”

Collaboration between popsicle brands and anime-style products seems to be a new trend in China. Before the collaboration with Qiqi, Genshin Impact had two other collaboration events with Suibian, the popsicle brand of Mengniu Dairy. Arknights, another popular anime-style video game, collaborated with the popsicle brand Bright Dairy a few days ago in July. It is the same brand that had an event with Azure Lane the last year. In June, Mengniu Dairy had an event for its popsicle brand Deluxe with characters from the Chinese Anime “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation”.
